Celebrating 10 years of the Millennium Kiosk! Day 1 of 2...
Just over a decade ago, we were privileged to design the Millennium Kiosk, a small but valuable addition to the Millennium Town Park that would bring morning coffees and summer ice creams to its regular visitors.
Our goal was simple: to design a contemporary kiosk that sat beautifully within its surroundings, a bespoke gem within the relatively new park. Clad in warm cedar, with soft curves and clean detailing, the kiosk was expertly crafted by Hacquoil and Cook to age gracefully, and it is truly rewarding to see how well it’s standing the test of time.
This little pavilion has served thousands of park visitors and morning commuters and will hopefully continue to do so for many more years.
Thanks to our client for entrusting this to us all those years ago!
Here’s to thoughtful design, enduring materials, and public spaces that make everyday life just that little bit better. 💛
