The peak of summer is behind us, and the angle of the sun and the shape of the clouds are starting to show some signs of autumn.

This year we are bringing back the “Moon gazing rabbit”, one of our most popular designs from last year.

It is a Japanese tradition to prepare some sweets adorned with silver grass on the night of a full moon to adore its beauty. If you look closely, you can see the image of a rabbit pounding rice cakes on the surface of the moon!

We’re pleased to introduce a special Estie created through a collaboration between BUNGUBOX and Esterbrook:
“Kachofugetsu—Flower”🌸

In Japan, there are many beautiful words that have been used since ancient times to describe the beauty of nature.
"Kachofugetsu" (Flower - Bird - Wind - Moon) is one of them.
When we hear the “flower” in “Kachofugetsu,”
the first thing that comes to mind is the “cherry blossom” that blooms in spring.
For the motif of this fountain pen, we chose the Somei-Yoshino cherry blossom, known for its particularly beautiful pale pink hue.
It is a representative variety of cherry blossom that blooms throughout Japan from March to April and has been beloved by people since ancient times.

The base model for this edition is Esterbrook’s iconic Estie.
The design features the petals of the Somei-Yoshino cherry blossom—beautiful from the moment they bloom until they fall—scattering in the air,
and we’ve even incorporated blossoms onto the converter, which is partially visible.
Gold plated on the nib, clip, and other trim elements add a touch of elegance.

In Japan, this pen is available exclusively at BUNGUBOX.

「花鳥風月ー花ー」のご紹介です🌸

日本には古来より自然の風物を愛でる美しい言葉があまたあります。
花鳥風月という言葉もその中のひとつです。
花鳥風月の「花」
と言ってすぐに連想されるのは春に咲く「桜」
この万年筆のモチーフに選んだのは、特に淡いピンク色が美しいソメイヨシノです。
3月から4月にかけて日本中に咲く代表的な桜の品種で、古来より人々に愛されてきました。

今回ベースとなっているのは、エスターブルック社の代表的なモデルであるEstie (エスティー) 。
開花から散り際までも美しいソメイヨシノの花びらが舞い散るデザインで、
さらに垣間見えるコンバーターにまで咲かせました。
ペン先やクリップなどのトリムにはゴールドを採用し華やかさを添えています。

こんにちは。神保町は今日もすっきりとした快晴です☀

店舗に山本紙業「RO-BIKI NOTE」の新柄が入荷しました！
世界中の美術館、博物館に所蔵されているユニークな絵画をモチーフにしたMuseum Seriesより、
〈POETS〉（尾形光琳『三十六歌仙図屏風』）
〈SNAIL〉（アンリ・マティス『かたつむり』）が登場です。

今回は新たにSee-through Seriesも仲間入り。
蝋引き紙の”透けて見える楽しさ”をテーマに開発されたシリーズです。
表紙が半透明なので、中に挟んだ写真やチケット、イラストなどが透けて見え、自分だけの表紙デザインを楽しむことができます。
コラージュに使えるお洒落な3枚の紙片が付属しますので、これを使っても素敵な表紙が完成しますよ。

New designs from Yamamoto Paper’s “RO-BIKI NOTE” have arrived at our physical store!
From the Museum Series—which features motifs inspired by unique paintings held in art galleries and museums around the world—
〈POETS〉 (Ogata Korin’s “The Thirty-Six Immortals of Poetry”)
and 〈SNAIL〉 (Henri Matisse’s “The Snail”) are now available.

The new See-through Series was developed around the theme of “the joy of seeing through” wax-coated paper.
Since the cover is semi-transparent, photos, tickets, illustrations, and other items tucked inside show through, allowing you to enjoy a cover design that’s uniquely yours.
The set includes three paper cutouts perfect for collages, so you can use them to create a beautiful cover as well.
