定番素材である LWライト30/9吊り裏毛 を、100年前のヴィンテージ起毛機で丁寧に裏起毛させた特別な生地です。
この希少な起毛機は、生地を開反せず、編み上がったままの状態で起毛をかけることができる独自の仕組みを備えています。
現代の起毛機のように均一に起毛をかけない分、吊り編み機が立体的に編み上げるループの良さをに残しながら、
「フワモコ」な起毛生地に仕上がるのが大きな特徴です。
また、豊染工の 「ウインス染色機」 と 「蒸気式乾燥機」 を用いた染色プロセスにより、普段と一味違うやわらかさと風合いを備えた特別な生地に仕上がるところも見逃せないポイントです。

The “100-Year Brushed Fabric” series,

This special fabric is made from our classic LW Light 30/9 TSURIAMI loopback fabric, brushed using a vintage brushing machine that dates back over 100 years.
Unlike modern brushing machines, this rare equipment can brush the fabric while it remains in its tubular form, without being opened up.
Because it does not brush the surface as evenly as modern machines, it preserves the natural texture and depth of the loops knitted by the TSURIAMIKI, resulting in a softly airy, “fluffy and cozy” brushed fabric — the hallmark of this series.
In addition, thanks to Yutakasenko’s winch dyeing machine and steam dryer, the fabric gains a distinctive softness and character that set it apart from our usual materials.
