博多茶くらは創業1936年の老舗が2011年にこだわりの日本茶専門店としてオープンさせたお店です。
店名である「博多茶くら」は博多に九州中からおいしいお茶が集まる蔵としての意味とお茶を淹れる時に急須の中でお茶が広がるのを待ってる様子を春に桜の開花を心待ちにする日本人の心として表した2つの想いからつけました。
お茶は福岡の八女茶を中心に九州各県の厳選された茶葉のみ使用し、熟練の技で仕上げた高貴で旨みのある商品を取り揃えております。特に八女茶や八女玉露はこだわりが強く味わい深いお茶を揃えてます。
そんな一つ一つこだわって仕上げたお茶をより楽しんで頂く為に店主自ら選んだ茶器はお茶をおいしく淹れる道具としてはもちろんデザインや飲み方の提案などもこだわりがあり、とても人気があります。急須や湯呑はもちろん茶缶や茶さじなど、どれも他にはない品揃えでお待ちしております。

博多茶くらのお茶について

日本茶の始まりは九州・福岡からと言われており、福岡でのお茶の歴史は古く長い時間をかけてより良いお茶を作ってきました。中でも福岡の八女茶は日本を代表する高級茶の産地でとても人気があります。
八女はきれいな水と山に囲まれ霧深く冷涼な土地はお茶の栽培にとても適しています。日本茶の最高峰である玉露は12年連続日本一で、抹茶の生産も盛んで広く茶道界にもその名が知れ渡っています。
博多茶くらはお茶一筋におよそ80年続いた歴史と技術と想いを込めて作られたお店で屋号と同じ「博多茶くら」は八女茶の中でも数種類の茶葉のみ使用し、煎茶に深蒸し茶、かぶせ茶を絶妙なバランスでブレンドしたオリジナルの八女茶で色・香り・味と三拍子揃ったお茶です。八女茶の持つ清涼感あふれる香りと苦みを抑えた甘い味わいは飲む人を喜ばせるお茶です。
また、日本茶の最高峰である八女の玉露や抹茶も人気の商品のです。その他にも九州のこだわりのお茶を揃えてお待ちしております。

ABOUT HAKATA SAKURA
Hakata Sakura is a Japanese tea shop specializing in fine Japanese tea. The name “博多茶くら-Hakata Sakura” stands for 茶蔵-a warehouse for teas and 桜-Sakura cherry blossom. We gather extensive tea products in Hakata from all over the Kyushu area. And Sakura the cherry blossom reflects the time we brew and wait tea leaves widely open inside the teapot, it might remind us Japanese people looking forward to cherry blossom season in early springs. We mainly use “Yame-cha” from Fukuoka besides the other range of selected fine teas from other six prefectures in Kyushu. We specifically proud of our Yame-cha and Yame Gyokuro with their excellent rich taste. As well as tea leaves, our tableware to enhance your tea time experience are popular. Our president himself select the tableware which is useful with sophisticated design. Needless to say, we have Kyusu teapots, Yunomi cups, Containers for leaves, and chasaji spoon. Japanese tea is said to be started its history from Fukuoka, Kyushu island. Japanese tea from Fukuoka has evolved over many years since its early days. Especially teas from Yame area, which is called Yame-cha is popular as one of the most high quality Japanese tea. Yame area is geographically suitable for tea cultivation. The area is surrounded by mountains and has cool and foggy environment with clear water. The rich environment produces the highest quality tea, Gyokuro and it has been being number one with its quality for 12 years in Japan. Today, Yame-cha is widely accepted for tea ceremony with its matcha. We opened the Hakata Sakura after more than 80 years of our history as Japanese tea distributor in Hakata. Our representing product “Hakata Sakura” is an original Yame-cha with fine colour, aroma, and taste. It is well balanced blend of Sencha, Fukamushi-cha, and Kabus-cha. Yame-cha attracts people with its fresh and flavorful mellow taste. Yame Gyokuro, best brand of Japanese green tea and Yame Matcha are popular as well.
