京都・長岡京で竹や古材に新たな命を吹き込む「高野竹工」さんより、味わい深い水撥や花入れが入荷いたしました。
長い年月を経て、独特の風合いを纏った古材。
その一つひとつが持つ傷や木目は、かつてどこかを支えていた記憶の証でもあります。そんな古材に、竹や瓢箪、編み籠といった自然の意匠が組み合わさり、現代の空間にも心地よく馴染む美しい佇まいに仕上がっています。

壁に掛け、一輪の花を添えるだけで、空間の空気がすっと澄んでいくような静かな存在感。季節の移ろいを花とともに楽しんでみませんか。

We have received a new shipment of exquisite water basins and flower vases from Takanochikko company in Nagaokakyo, Kyoto, that breathes new life into bamboo and reclaimed wood.

The reclaimed wood, having weathered the passage of time, possesses a unique character.

Each piece bears the marks and grain, testament to its past role in supporting something. These reclaimed materials are combined with natural designs such as bamboo, gourds, and woven baskets, resulting in beautiful pieces that blend seamlessly into modern spaces.

すべてが手仕事による一点物で、物語性を感じる独創的な世界観が特徴です。

押絵とは、厚紙を型抜きしたパターンに綿をつめ、ちりめんなどの布に包んで立体的な絵柄を作り出す、江戸時代から伝わる日本の伝統的な手芸です。

Hirabayashi Oshie Studio

Hirabayashi Oshie Studio carries on the traditional techniques of Edo-period oshie (appliqué).

Having studied under traditional craftsman Toyoo Noguchi (5th generation Musashiya Houzan), they develop not only traditional battledore rackets but also framed artwork and accessories that add color to everyday life, all with their reliable skills.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind, handmade item, characterized by a unique world view that evokes a sense of storytelling.

Oshie is a traditional Japanese craft that has been passed down since the Edo period, in which cotton is stuffed into patterns cut from cardboard and wrapped in fabric such as chirimen to create three-dimensional pictures.
