「あれ、何のウリだろう？」
私には見えなかったものは彼女には見えた。
私は住人なのに、馴染みすぎて、逆に周りを観察しなくなりました。
ここ数日間の在廊期間、陳さんはまるで猫みたいに、
静かに新しい環境をずっと観察し続けていた。
蜘蛛を数えたり、植物を見てたり、隅にあるほこりまで気を配ったです。
隣の空き屋からやってきたカラスウリの実に気づいた陳さんはあまりにも気になって、楽しそうに摘み取った。
私はいっそうカメラを陳さんに渡して、
彼女の視点で撮った空間や展示の写真をぜひみたいとのお願い。
彼女は環境を観察し、私は彼女を観察します。
さらに知らない一面を知るようになりました。
私が考えたよりも、ものに持つ関心はずっと深かったです。
そして、昨日も沢山お越しいただき、ありがとうございました！
次のオープンは「7/18-7/20」になります。

【Rusted Objects 染・織・縫】陳穎亭 個展 陳穎亭
錆は、長い時間の積み重ねによって生まれる
もの です。インティンはその時間の痕跡を
受け取り、唯一無二の作品へと昇華させてい
ます。
そして作品たちは皆様のもとへ旅立ち、暮ら
しの中で再び時間とともに変化していきます。
ゆっくりゆっくりと、それぞれのストーリー
が紡がれていきます。

“What kind of melon is that?”
She noticed something I had completely missed.
Even though I live here, I’ve grown so accustomed to my surroundings that I’ve stopped truly observing them.
Over these past few days during the exhibition, Inting has been like a cat—constantly exploring and quietly taking in her new environment.
She counted spiders, examined the plants, and even paid attention to the dust gathering in the corners.
When she spotted the scarlet gourds that had crept over from the abandoned house next door, she became so fascinated that she happily picked a few.
She observes the environment, while I observe her.
Through this, I’ve come to discover another side of her.
Her curiosity toward the world of objects and materials runs much deeper than I had ever imagined.
Our next opening days will be July 18–20.
Chen Ying-Ting’s solo exhibition, Rusted Objects 陳穎亭, will continue throughout those days.
These will also be our final three opening days before the first half of this year‘s season comes to a close.
