1TA＆Element主宰Riddim Chango傘下の実験＆挑戦的なサブ・レーベルParallel Line第三弾はMindseyerecords.xyzからNape名義で高速テクノ（Tekno）をリリースしているSeverin Blackが手掛けたロウ＆不穏＆エクスペリメンタルなデジダブ～テクノ・ハイブリッド。A1は初期Pev味あるような。

が「ダブ」をテーマにその影響下にある各種ダンス・ミュージックをリリースする新レーベルResonance of Dubの第二弾は、Ekowmaniaのアルバム「Dr. Afrodub」に収録されていた「Dub Souljah」＋未発表曲のSotofettリミックス四種。Jimi Tenorも参加したルーツ～アフロ～ファンク路線のサイコーなやつなのですが、当店的には先ずはディープ～ミニマルなB1をチェック。強力です。45回転仕様。

”This is the 12" already immortalized by Gilles Peterson! Dub Souljah, with its classic Roots Reggae/Dub-styled horns and brilliant lead and backing vocals, comes in two versions when Ekowmania meets DJ Sotofett. The first version, in 1970s tradition, is a rocking dancefloor Disco Dub with extended and highlighted percussion parts. Then there's the Ultra Dub – a severely deep and reduced dub where horns and vocals surface only intermittently through constant echoed kicks, minimal hi-hats, and a two-tone bassline. The title track is from Ekowmania's Dr. Afrodub album, produced by Jimi Tenor, but this 12" also includes two non-album cuts: the psychedelic Afro twist of Afrolistic Rock & Roll, and the cosmic Latin-styled Kuusikasi Funk, featuring beautiful saxophone and flute by Jimi Tenor. 神戸在住アーティスト によるモジュラー・シンセを駆使したエレクトロニカ～ミニマル・アルバムが、WOODMANの復刻～アーカイヴ・シリーズでおなじみNew Masterpieceから。「ダンスミュージックを意識した」作品とのこと。DIYな紙ジャケット仕様。

”The latest release from “New Masterpiece,” by the up-and-coming Kobe-based artist Molder, features six carefully selected tracks—totaling just over 45 minutes—chosen from a collection of 50 songs created using a modular synthesizer he has relied on throughout the pandemic and his own custom-built rhythm generator. Described by the artist as “inspired by dance music,” this work possesses a unique, mysterious quality that is both primal and futuristic, with every element—from rhythms to melodies—expanding, contracting, and shifting as if in dance.”
