Last day in Japan. 😢 Thirty years ago, we hosted Megumi, a young college student from Yokohama. She stayed with us while studying at a local college. It was a joy getting to know her. She learned to drive and bought a car while living with us. This is my first time to visit Japan and I’m so glad that she had time to meet us! It’s also so special that one of my daughters is best friends with her daughter.

I know this is my art account, but I’m temporarily in Japan for 2 weeks with 4 of my daughters and will post about it here. Have you ever been to Japan? I Love the architecture & gardens here. Even these sake barrels are artistic. So I hope to have some Asian influence in my art when I get back.

This past week we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary. God gets the credit for that accomplishment! My husband gifted me this print of an original painting by (Check out his account ) The restaurant in this painting is Harbor Lights where we had our first date!
