原初の記憶

「美しい」と感じる時
それはどこから来るのだろう？

父や母から世界の美しさを
教えられる以前
自我が芽生える前から
花や色に惹かれ心が喜ぶ感覚を
自然と僕らは知っている

それは、今を生きる喜びを味わえるようにと
太古の祖先からの素晴らしいギフトとして
刻まれ受け継がれ、そこに在る

太古の祖先が感じた美しさに想いを馳せる

海に身を委ね変化し繰り返す光と音に包まれる
空を見上げ一面の青の中に争い事はない
森の奥深く立ち止まり静かで力強い命を感じる

自分の奥深く微かにぼやけて発光している
感覚が滲み溢れ出る

意識の奥底にある「美しい」という
原初の感覚を想起する

Primal Memory

When do we feel something is “beautiful”? Where does that feeling come from?

Even before our fathers and mothers teach us about the beauty of the world, even before the ego awakens, we are already drawn to flowers and colors, and our hearts know the quiet joy of that attraction.

This is a wondrous gift, inscribed in us and passed down from our ancient ancestors, so that we may savor the joy of being alive in this very moment.

I let my thoughts travel to the beauty perceived by those distant ancestors.

Surrendering the body to the sea, wrapped in the ever-shifting play of light and sound. Looking up the sky, an endless blue where no conflicts exist. Standing still deep in the forest, feeling a quiet yet powerful life all around.

From deep within myself, a vague, softly glowing sensation begins to blur and overflow.

I return to that primordial sense of “beauty” that rests at the very bottom of my awareness.
