Jackie Chan keeps popping up on my Instagram Reels lately. I guess I just can't help stopping to watch whenever his legendary action clips appear on my feed.

I realized I rarely see young people popping their chewing gum with their tongues anymore. It feels like one of those subtle street-corner nostalgic habits that somehow faded away with the changing times.

I usually wake up at 2:00 a.m. on market supply days, but today I happened to open my eyes at exactly 1:59 a.m. I felt so unreasonably frustrated thinking that I could have slept for just one more minute.

After hearing about the game "Kingdom Hearts," my wife got completely lost in her search results while trying to remember its name. She ended up searching for hilarious variations like "King Chrome Hearts" and "King Ham" instead.

Yesterday, I took a written qualification exam that I thought would be useful for my future life, after months of wrestling with unfamiliar terms and calculations. I passed the initial threshold, but just thinking about the upcoming practical exam at the end of the year makes my brain feel like it's overheating.

When I asked my son if he wanted to take a bath before dinner, my wife chimed in from behind, insisting, "I already ate! I already ate!" I couldn't help but wonder what exactly she thought she had consumed.

Since my wife started spending more time in the Nagano mountains, her Christmas wish for Santa this year is apparently a chainsaw. I'll be sure to hang up an extra-large stocking just in case.

It's that season when my wife and I playfully compete to see who can trace the sweet scent of fragrant osmanthus back to its source first. Walking around following our noses is one of our favorite little ways to welcome autumn.
