🌳Mokuty Club 2nd Plantation Program 🌳

We attended the second plantation program organized by General Incorporated Association “Mokuty club”.
We planted about 1,000 Chinese fir(called Koyozan in Japanese) in Tabito area, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture.🙌

Before Plantation Program, there was the demonstration of drone carrying saplings, we saw a part of advanced forestry working.👀✨✨

This year the plantation area was steeper than the last year.💦💦😅
With the help of 150 volunteers we managed to plant the trees without any injuries.😊

Like last year our company served pork miso soup for the volunteers!!
It felt awesome to eat pork miso soup and onigiri, after the hard work in the mountain.✨✨👍

Once again, I was able to feel that the wood we usually use has reached our company thanks to the cooperation and hardship of various people.🙇‍♀️

Next year we have plantation program at Tamura city, Fukushima prefecture.
If you are interested, let’s plant the trees together.🌲🌲🌲

FSC®︎ Hinoki Versatile Standing Plate

The new style product can be used as a cutting board as well as a serving board.

Characteristics of the product

①Self Standing

We have added the legs to the cutting board so it can stand itself, and you can dry without any need of stands.

To dry the cutting board fast it should be dried along the grains of cutting board.This cutting board has the self standing capacity so you don’t need to worry about the grains and you can dry it fast

Since it has the handle it can be used as a serving plate,and make it easy to serve in time.

②With handle

When serving with this board you can add luxurious taste in the food and enjoy the moment.

As well as it has the type with knife slot.
Since you can keep the knife and cutting board in set, you can use it anytime, anywhere conveniently.

It’s been a long time since my last post. We have been busy developing new products.

We are attending at Ambiente 2020.
We feel that eco-friendly products are increasing this year. Straws which made of other than plastic material and biomass plastic products which made of various plant material are become popular.

Today is third day of the fair. We will continue to tell our zero emission story to everyone.

[Monthly Training] TOPIC: HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

With the aim of benefiting both customers and organization, KODAI has conducted monthly training for our employees and maintained this event as an official activity. The training sessions are well-prepared with various topics, from work-related experience enrichment to personal development.

We have explored a lot of interesting information in this topic, such as a healthy amount of calories for each meals, BMI measurements and the top diseases that cause death in Japan every year. The highlight of this session was to design 03 meals for a day with ideally amount of calories and balance of nutrition.

Following to our "Contribution" Philosophy, we will continue to cultivate to be better everyday, so that we can fulfill our mission of contributing to the people, our customers, suppliers, society and this Earth.
