"嗜好品"とはよく言ったもので、
ある人にとっては、まったく無くても困らないもの。
けれど別の誰かにとっては、
暮らしの輪郭をそっと整えてくれる “相棒” のような存在になる。
今回はそんな誰かにとって特別な "一品" を
ご用意しました。
火を点ける前の静けさ。
香りがゆっくりと立ち上る時間。
手に馴染んだ革の質感と、育ててきた愛着のモノたち。
@sixcoupdefoudre からは、
私自身が BAR などへ出かけるときのために考案した
パイプケースやパイプホルダーを。
さらに、私が長く愛用してきたタンパーは
lano creation さんのもの。
今回の為に特別に仕立てていただきました。
（平野さんもかなりのパイプ好きでいらっしゃいます）
手に収まる小さな道具たちにも、
使い手それぞれの物語が宿ります。
そこには機能だけでは語れない、
自分だけのリズムや、思考の深まる瞬間がある。
また今回の企画では、
呑み友達でありパイプコレクターでもある
クリエイター・ryota saito 氏とともに、
パイプにまつわる “特別な一品” を揃えて皆様をお迎えいたします。

People often say that certain pleasures are “non-essential”—
things you can live your whole life without and never be troubled.
And yet, for someone else,
those very same things become quiet companions
that gently shape the contours of daily life.
For this occasion, we’ve prepared a selection of such “non-essentials”—
pieces that become special precisely because they aren’t necessary.
The stillness before striking a flame.
The moment when the aroma begins to rise.
The warmth of familiar leather,
and the objects you’ve slowly grown into over the years.
From ,
I am bringing the pipe cases and pipe holders
I originally designed for my own nights out at the bar.
I also asked lano creation to craft a special version
of the tamper I’ve used and cherished for many years.
(Mr. Hirano, the maker, is himself an avid pipe enthusiast.)
Even the smallest tools that fit in the palm of your hand
carry the stories of their owner—
moments of rhythm, reflection,
and a quiet deepening of one’s inner landscape
that no function alone can explain.
For this event,
I’ll be welcoming you together with my drinking companion,
friend, and pipe collector, ryota saito,
as we share these special pieces devoted to the world of pipes.
As the long autumn nights arrive,
may you treat yourself to a small luxury—
a moment spent with something “unnecessary,”
and therefore utterly rich.
