日本の伝統工芸品の魅力を海外に発信されているセレクトショップ・㈱MUSUBI Lab様が人と器の関係性を結びなおすというコンセプトで開発、製作された「金継ぎクラフトキット」。その中で金粉のあしらい用として当堂の筆を選定いただきました。販売からまだ半年経っていませんが、大変好評をいただいています。
　日本の素晴らしい器を長く大切に使っていただけましたら幸いです。
(The "Kintsugi Craft Kit" was developed and produced by MUSUBI Lab Co., Ltd.—a select shop dedicated to sharing the appeal of Japanese traditional crafts with the world—based on the concept of forging a renewed connection between people and their tableware. Our brushes were selected for use in applying the gold powder within this kit. Although it has been less than six months since its launch, the product has already been very well received.
We hope that this kit allows you to cherish and use your wonderful Japanese tableware for a long time to come.)

昨日で第４６回滋賀県書展会期中に開催された「書道フェス」が無事に終わりました。５日６日の２日間とも大盛況で、展示即売会にも沢山の方にお立ち寄りいただき本当にありがとうございました。
　県内の高校生や滋賀県書道協会の理事長・副理事長による素晴らしい書道パフォーマンス、そして親子での書のワークショップでは沢山の親子さんが楽しく書道をされているのがとても印象に残りました。
　改めて滋賀の書の魅力を実感致しました。また来年もぜひ参加させていただけましたら幸いです。
　尚、前期展は９月１３日（日）までイオンモール草津で開催されます。何卒よろしくお願い致します。
(The "Calligraphy Festival," held during the 46th Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Exhibition, successfully concluded yesterday. Both days—the 5th and the 6th—were a great success, and we are truly grateful to the many people who stopped by the exhibition and sales event.
It was particularly memorable to see the wonderful calligraphy performances by local high school students and the leadership of the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Association, as well as the many parents and children enjoying calligraphy together in the workshops.
The experience reaffirmed the appeal of calligraphy in Shiga. We would be delighted to participate again next year.
Please note that the first phase of the exhibition continues at AEON MALL Kusatsu until Sunday, September 13. We look forward to your visit.)

今日からイオンモール草津２階イオンホールにて「第４６回滋賀県書展前期展」が１３日（日）まで開催されます。
そして、今日と６日の２日間「書道フェス」が同会場１階セントラルコートで開催されます。
　会期中は県内の高校生や滋賀県書道協会理事長・副理事長による書道パフォーマンスや親子で楽しめる書のワークショップ、そして滋賀県書道協会選定書道用品店による展示即売会を行います。当堂は両日出展致します。
ぜひ、会場にお越しいただき、滋賀の書の魅力をご堪能いただけましたら幸いです。
(Starting today, the "46th Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Exhibition (First Phase)" is being held at the Aeon Hall on the second floor of Aeon Mall Kusatsu and will run until Sunday, the 13th.
Additionally, a "Calligraphy Festival" is taking place over two days—today and the 6th—at the Central Court on the first floor of the same venue.
During the event, there will be calligraphy performances by local high school students and the president and vice-president of the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Association, as well as calligraphy workshops for parents and children and an exhibition and sale of calligraphy supplies by shops selected by the Association. Our company will be exhibiting on both days.
We hope you will visit the venue and enjoy the appeal of Shiga's calligraphy.)

(Yesterday, the online select shop "rimpamura"—which specializes in the "Four Treasures of the Study"—was featured in a double-page spread of *Sumi* (Issue 302), published by Geijutsu Shimbunsha. It has been over three years since they began carrying our brushes, and they have received orders from numerous customers across the globe, including in the United States and Europe. The shop itself offers a wonderful experience that evokes a sense of tradition and history; we hope you will take a look.)

前回の価格改訂以来、懸命に価格維持に努めて参りましたが、昨今の様々な社会情勢により、円安による価格高騰、筆の原料不足により、誠に不本意ながら筆の価格の一部を令和８年１０月１日より値上げさせていただきます。今回は今までずっと値上げをしていなかった当堂独自の巻筆もほとんど値上げする事になりました。

(We have strived to maintain our prices since the last revision; however, due to recent circumstances—including rising costs caused by the depreciation of the yen and shortages of raw materials for brush making—we find it necessary, albeit reluctantly, to raise the prices of certain brush products effective October 1, 2026. This adjustment includes our proprietary "MAKIFUDE" line, which had previously remained exempt from price increases.

この度、(一財)東京私立中学高等学校協会から依頼をいただき、昨日、当協会の研修会にて巻筆についての講演及び製作実演、糊固め及び筆の試し書き体験会をさせていただきました。
　夏休みの期間にも関わらず、沢山の先生方にご参加いただき、熱心にご聴講いただきました。体験会では先生方初めてされる糊固めの作業に四苦八苦されながらも頑張って工程体験していただき、巻筆含め沢山の筆を試筆していただきました。
　今回このような貴重な機会をいただき本当にありがとうございました。
(We were recently invited by the Tokyo Private Junior and Senior High School Association to conduct a session at their training event yesterday. The program included a lecture and demonstration on *Makifude* (rolled brushes), as well as hands-on workshops for brush stiffening (using paste) and test-writing.
Despite it being the summer holiday period, many teachers attended and listened with great enthusiasm. During the hands-on session, they worked diligently through the process—grappling a bit with the unfamiliar task of stiffening the brushes with paste—and tried out a wide variety of brushes, including the *Makifude*.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for this valuable opportunity.)

As was the case last year, a "Calligraphy Festival" will also take place on the 5th and 6th—the first two days of the exhibition—at the Central Court on the first floor of the same venue.

昨日に続き、今日は滋賀県書教育研究会主催「楽しく取り組む書写指導講座」に大津まで書道用品の販売に来ています。開講式の終わりに毎年お話させていただく「筆について」。受講される先生方、毎年真剣に聞いていただきありがたい限りです。
　硬筆・毛筆と丸１日の研修ですが、学校の先生方皆さん真剣に取り組まれています。この秋開催される滋賀県書教育研究大会での研究発表が素晴らしいものになります事を心より祈念致します。
(Following yesterday’s event, I am in Otsu today selling calligraphy supplies at the "Seminar on Enjoyable Calligraphy Instruction," organized by the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Education Research Association. At the conclusion of the opening ceremony, I gave my annual talk on "Writing Brushes." I am deeply grateful to the participating teachers for listening so intently year after year.
Although the training covers both hard-pen and brush calligraphy—spanning a full day—all the teachers are engaging with the material with great seriousness. I sincerely hope that the research presentations at the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Education Research Conference this autumn will be outstanding.)

今日は滋賀県書教育研究会主催「楽しく取り組む書写指導講座」に米原まで書道用品の販売に来ています。
　硬筆・毛筆と丸１日の研修ですが、学校の先生方皆さん真剣に取り組まれています。初参加の先生方も多く嬉しかったです。
　この秋開催される滋賀県書教育研究大会での研究発表が素晴らしいものになります事を心より祈念致します。
(Today, I am in Maihara selling calligraphy supplies at the "Seminar on Enjoyable Penmanship Instruction," organized by the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Education Research Association.
The full-day training covers both hard-pen (pencil/ballpoint) and brush calligraphy, and the participating teachers are all engaging with the material very earnestly. It was a pleasure to see so many teachers attending for the first time.
I sincerely hope that the research presentations at the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Education Research Conference, to be held this autumn, will be outstanding.)

今日は土筆会(藤田恭敏先生主宰)の錬成会に書道用品販売に来ています。滋賀県書展などこれからの展覧会に向けて皆さん一心不乱に書かれています。
　多くの実りある展覧会になります事を心より祈念致します。
(I am here today selling calligraphy supplies at the *Renseikai* (intensive practice session) hosted by the Tsukushi-kai (led by Mr. Yasutoshi Fujita). Everyone is practicing with intense focus in preparation for upcoming exhibitions, such as the Shiga Prefecture Calligraphy Exhibition.
I sincerely hope that the exhibition will be a highly fruitful one.)
