As I look at where the business is currently and where I want it to go - not to mention the ever changing tariff and shipping landscape, a temporary service halt for PARTS makes the most sense.
To clarify, WHEEL orders are still being processed as normal.
Sports teams have off-seasons for them to regroup and come back stronger. And that's how I see it.
Priorities:
- Get the new shop built out and move!!
- Catch up on the ever growing backlog!
- Clear out abandoned orders
- Get back to regularly posting reels and updates
- Reduce the delay in posting in-stock wheels
- Build out some additions to the website
- Be positioned to hire some help!
- Finally get some proper stickers/merch!?
- Just generally move the business a big step forward
I truly appreciate those who have put their trust in me as their partner in Japan for wheels and parts. I'm fortunate to have this "problem" but I'd be doing you all a disservice if I continued as is.
Message response times and shipping time-frames have been slipping. I continually feel behind and my mental bandwidth has been at its limits for a while now so it's time to make a change.
With the growth of the business this year, it's become more obvious that the time involved per PART order just isn't sustainable as currently structured.
The answer until now was to work more but with a super active family and a house under reno, there's only so many hours in the day and I've hit that limit.
Time to restructure/expand/level up.
The new invoicing system has been a huge help. Now to focus on the work environment and building out a team.
I've been back and forth with this for a minute now as I've been trying to figure out the best path forward and this makes the most sense to buy back some time.
