哪一刻能被稱作妳的「韻腳」？

品牌經營一段時間以後，每天都要出很多貨，一天可能需要包裝高達一百件礦石，當時會覺得時間流逝得很快，自己也有點進入心流的狀態，心中常會有種急迫感，想讓礦石們盡快抵達將與他們相遇的人們那裡，並會因為看到他們與礦石相處得很好而感到滿足。我想那一刻，可能是最接近我的「韻腳」的狀態。

What’s your “Rhyme” moment?

After running the brand for a while, I was shipping out many orders daily, sometimes up to a hundred minerals in the same day. Time flew, and I often found myself in a state of flow, eagerly anticipating the minerals reaching those destined to meet them. Seeing them bond well with the stones brought me immense satisfaction. That moment, perhaps, is my closest experience of a “Rhyme”.

何德來 (1904-1986) 是一位在台灣有著重要地位的藝術家。生於日治時期、分別在臺灣及日本兩地受教育，且在年幼時成為養子，促使何德來的藝術創作可以看到探索著認同及關係議題的脈絡。一起在回顧展當中，從這些罕見的作品裡看見何德來的內在衝突、探索路途與對生命的熱愛。

Ka Tokurai (Ho Te-Lai,1904-1986) was a significant Taiwanese artist who dedicated his entire life to expressive art during the period of Japanese rule. Adopted at a young age and later educated in both Taiwan and Japan, issues of identity and relationships always remained at the heart of his creative context. Explore his seldom-seen artworks in the retrospective and connect with his inner conflicts and profound passion for life.

We visited Takamatsu, the city alongside Seto Inland Sea of Japan, last month and brought back some vintage as souvenirs. The objects shed light of the inspirations absorbed from the land and the sea.

哪一刻能被稱作妳的「韻腳」？

我認為好的作品會有屬於自己的韻律、曲調，拿起它們時就能感受得到。我喜歡看到作品有自己的靈魂，而不是我附加給它們的，因此當作品能夠唱出屬於它們的旋律時，那就是我的韻腳。或許英文比較達意，大概是："When I see my works singing their own tunes."
