Integrating Holistic Care with Focus on Spiritual Care: A case Study of AGC Tenwek Hospital

This book calls on readers to embrace a model of care where faith and medicine walk hand in hand. It challenges healthcare institutions to recognize that healing extends far beyond physical recovery. It reminds chaplains, caregivers and medical professionals that their work is sacred, and that compassion, presence and prayer are as essential as clinical skills.

Patients experience peace, families find strength, caregivers serve with compassion, and communities witness the power of God's love at work. This is the essence of holistic healing, and it is the foundation upon which Tenwek's ministry continues to thrive.
Rev. Joel Kibet Tonui has been a full-time trained Pastor since 1994, having served in various Local Churches. A motivational speaker and Bible teacher, he is a resident of Kenya from Bomet County, currently serving as AGC Tenwek Hospital Chaplain.
He has attended and participated in a number of conferences which included Global Children Leaders Conference held in Thailand, later facilitated in
International Child Evangelism Ministry (CEM) Leaders Summit in Nigeria.
Also he attended an international Discipleship Conference in Ethiopia where leaders were taught on how to intentionally motivate the Church to implement a Bible study program in their respective place of assignments.
