Shop/Store Attendant (1 Young Lady & 1 Gentleman)

Job brief
We are looking for a competitive retail Sales Assistant/Shop Attendant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. Sales assistant duties include selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

Responsibilities
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Continually Maintain high levels of hygiene standards by ensuring all the store shelves are dusted, Floor mopped, Items cleaned/wiped
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants by politely attending to all Customers
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Notifying the management of unique non available but frequently sort after products by customers
• Welcome and greet customers with ever happy face
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Packing and carrying of bulky shopping for customers out of the shop
• Actively be involved in the receiving of new stocks
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits to customer recommending where necessary
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Requirements
• Proven working experience in retail sales
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Track record of over-achieving sales quota
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
• Basic administration skills
• High school certificate
• Speak clear English & Kiswahili, (knowledge in other language will be an added advantage
