What is FAGIA?

Fagia is dead stock which is sold at a low price to clear the stock n restock.

In supermarkets or big shops like Bata they won't call it Fagia instead they call it clearance Sale. Actually you will find places like Tile and Carpets clearing goods at half price not because the are damaged but because they want to clear the old stock.

Now let's come to Mtush, the mention of the name fagia makes many shiver. The name actually has been branded (matambara) some with a very little Capital like 1k will opt out because of the fear.
Those who have ever gone to select clothes in the market you will bare me witness that there are so many clothes you leave behind, not because they are torn or damaged but because either it couldn't fit you, or the colour didn't please n it's not exactly what you were looking for. Most of the clothes you leave behind end up in fagia. I personally would not dare wear crop top, so if am looking for tops for me to wear I will just leave the crop top. Someone else who loves them will be so excited to find them.

Fagia sio matambara na sio nguo mbaya, these are clothes that remained after the seller sold first n second camera, got his/her capital back and some profit n now wants to make some space for more. You can get them at a price of 10-100. So many people keep on asking me for the bales that most hawkers open so they can for example sell tops at 100. My answer is most of them are fagia they can even pick them at 30, fix buttons or mend the running seam iron and they become as good as new., These baggy adult hoods at gikomba are converted to kids sweatpants.
