Kenya has introduced a mandatory travel insurance requirement for international visitors staying for less than 12 months.

Travellers will need valid insurance with a minimum cumulative benefit of USD 50,000, including medical care, emergency transportation, prescribed medicines, mental illness, and repatriation.
