Nairobi rain and leather are not friends — but they can coexist.
Three rules:
1. Caught in it? Air-dry indoors, away from heat. Never in the sun and never near a jiko.
2. Wipe the mud off while it's still damp, not after it dries hard.
3. Once dry, rub in a little coconut or neem oil to put the moisture back.
Save this before the next downpour.
