Let's go to Lord Egerton Castle - the Castle built for Love!

The Story
Between 1938 and 1954, Lord Maurice Egerton built a 52-room masterpiece with tiles from China, marble from Italy and oak from England — all to impress a lady who called his first house a "chicken coop" 😅. She said no, left, and he lived there alone until 1958 banning women from the compound. The notes he pinned on trees are still part of the story! Today it's managed by Egerton University and opened to us since 2005.
