Hi everybody, We are the newest food retailers in town and we want to start by offering a specialty from the Bordeaux area in France (not wine!), namely the cannelé.

The name Cannelé take his roots from the copper molds that were used in its fabrication. For the fabrication of wine only the white of the eggs were used and the yellow were given to the sisters of a neighboring convent to make cakes. Vanilla or rum were arriving in the port of Bordeaux and were used in the making of the Cannelé.
Mini cannelés served with café or big cannelés as dessert never disappoint as they are truly delicious!
