Helping Hands Organization of Kenya is an independent Christian charity that provides opportunities for education and training to disadvantaged adults, youth, and children. Our non-profit organization brings individuals from the local community and outlying areas together for a unique experience. Skillful Hands is based in Naivasha, within the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya, where we provide op
portunities for young people to learn a marketable skill. We provide vocational training in weaving, art, and tailoring. Students are taught the importance of good work ethic, such as integrity, punctuality, and the need to produce goods of a high quality. We also encourage students to grow in their personal and Christian faith by participating in weekly discipleship courses, daily prayer, and reflection. In addition to the life skills training, we also believe equipping people spiritually is important. As an inclusive center, we hope to break down stereotypes and prejudices to raise awareness about the difficulties faced by individuals with disabilities.
