Asparagus and artichokes are the in thing this season. ( Stokes purple fleshed sweet potatoes have been suffering due to too much rain)..not complaining.

These ones have enjoyed the rains to the fullest 😆.
Dealing with the w**d is the main challenge with the asparagus.
For the artichoke, come what may, if the weather is conducive, it survives!❤️❤️

Taking health as our responsibility! Stokes purple fleshed sweet potato has anthocyanin antioxidants that you shall not get from the yellow, white or orange fleshed sweet potato varieties.

The orange and yellow varieties have carotine and vitamins. They are pretty common in the market.

Why is Stokes purple fleshed special? It causes no gas or heart burn even when eaten cold.

It's believed to prevent colon cancer too.
