Friends, the Sondu Business Community, and the Youth gathered to light candles in loving memory of the late ๐“๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐…๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐š ๐Ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐๐ข.

As the candles shine, they symbolize the light she brought into the lives of her family, friends, students, and the wider Sondu community. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธโค๏ธ

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her love, kindness, and memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The Sondu Business Community joins the family, friends, and loved ones of Omondi Moses and Jd Bless in mourning the heartbreaking loss of their beloved daughter, Felisha Beverly.

We are deeply saddened by the news that this young soul passed away peacefully in her sleep. Her life may have been short, but the love and memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

TRAGEDY AT MARABOI RESORT, SONDU

Panic and grief struck Maraboi Resort in Sondu last night after an attack by suspected criminals.

According to early reports, the assailants killed a security guard on duty before attacking employees inside the premises. Several staff members were reportedly sexually assaulted during the incident. The attackers also stole property and an unknown amount of money before escaping.

Police have since arrived at the scene and launched investigations. A manhunt for the suspects is currently underway.

Authorities say they will release more details once investigations are complete.

Night of horror on our roads

At least 10 people have lost their lives in a tragic road accident at Chabera along the Kisiiโ€“Kisumu Highway.

The deadly crash involved two lorries and a private van, turning the highway into a scene of devastation and grief.

The victims were returning from a wedding in Kakamega, a joyful journey that sadly ended in tragedy as night fell.

Wreckage, screams, and flashing sirens filled the dark highway โ€” a painful reminder of how unsafe our roads can become at night.

SHOCKING: Form 4 student arrested for robbery in Nyabondo Area
A 20-year-old Form Four student who is a candidate for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams has been arrested by the police in connection with a series of break-ins and thefts in the Nyabondo, Ndare Ramula, and Dirubi areas.
Austin Omondi Agimba was apprehended at Ramula Odowa Secondary School after a thorough investigation.
According to the police, Agimba confessed to the crimes and implicated his accomplices, including Okoth Balozi, Japheth Ndege Onyango, and George Audi, who was previously arrested for stealing 13 hens from the home of Principal Mrs. Amadi Ogoro.
The police operation led to the recovery of several stolen items, including school tablets, laptops, and a homemade pistol, from the homes of Apollo Okoyo and Japheth Onyango. The items were suspected to have been stolen from Kabete Primary School, Kabete AIC Church, and other shops around Nyabondo, where a string of break-ins had been reported.
The break-ins had caused concern among residents, with recent incidents including the theft of tablets and laptops from Kabete Primary School and the burglary of Kabete AIC Church, where a gas cylinder was stolen. The community had been living in fear, and the police are commended for their efforts in tracking down the culprits.
The police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may help in tracking down the remaining suspects.
The suspects and recovered items have been booked at Ogoro Police Station.
The operation was carried out by a team of officers, including Ass/Chief Euxavious Ong'ole, Ass/Chief Zablon Owiti, Incharge Kodong'a - Vincent, and community policing members.
The police operation is ongoing, and residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities
