Color Silk Cambodia Color Silk works to protect the ancient tradition of silk weaving in Cambodia while empowering women and reducing poverty in more isolated areas.

Color Silk is a social enterprise launched in 2009. Willing to preserve a cultural heritage at risk of vanishing : silk weaving, the organization helps improving the living conditions of silk weavers – mainly women - located in the rural areas of Takeo province by providing traing, production assets as well as raw material. Color Silk also ensables them to sell their final products by being a val

uable mediation between the weavers and the wholesalers and retailers in Phnom Penh, so that they can generate a stable income. Due to this large process, the products made are unique, only made after naturally dyed Khmer silk. The weavers sell beautiful patterned and colour-mixed fabrics, sarong and scarves that are eco friendly and produced in good conditions.
