"Siem Reap, 12 years ago.
2014 was the turning point: after ten years of Samatoa, I dropped mulberry silk for lotus fiber. A fiber nobody believed in.
What followed: a French Presidential prize, royal endorsement from King Norodom Sihamoni, six awards — and one bankruptcy. Samatoa died. Lotus Silk Farm was born.
Resilience isn't a concept here. It's a flower that grows out of the mud, and a people who did the same.

Savin has been working with lotus fiber since 2013 — first creating lotus textiles and garments for the world’s luxury markets, long before Lotus Silk Farm was established.
Today, she brings her years of expertise and passion to our production house, joining more than 200 artisans dedicated to preserving seven endangered Khmer crafts.

We’re delighted to open the doors of Maison Lotus, the start of your journey to the Lotus Silk Farm Siem Reap and to celebrate our opening, we’re making your visit even easier.

When you book an experience at the Lotus Silk Farm, we now offer a complimentary shuttle departing directly from Maison Lotus every 30 minutes, from 8am to 4pm. The ride is approximately 20 minutes and a return shuttle will take you back from the farm after your visit. An additional shuttle will take you back from the farm at 8pm if you book our sunset monk experience.

While you wait, you can enjoy a yummy lotus snack and a coffee while having a look around our boutique in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
