Meet John, our IT hero: "My journey with clay actually started when I was a kid! My friends and I used to play with the natural clay we found in the fields, making little sculptures and firing them with wood. Being here today, I am so happy to reconnect with clay.

I have been working here for two years, helping with the website, design, and printing. When I started, I practiced pottery every day for a month to master the wheel, and then became a teacher as well.

I love the community here and the fact that I get to do so many different things. Plus, I’m given time to research and train during my work hours so I can grow in my role. I also like getting to meet the customers. I truly think pottery is the best way to release stressβ€”you don’t need to master it; you can just come in on the weekends, put your music on and enjoy."
