Another sweet memory from Maremohe. 🤎

Four lovely ladies traveled all the way from the U.S to join my yakgwa cookie baking class in Seoul.

The cutest part?

They kept saying, ”It‘s so pretty!“ every few minutes. 🥹

They carefully decorated every cookie, took tons of photos, and even zoomed in to capture every little detail. I couldn’t stop smiling while watching them enjoy the experience.

Moments like this remind me that travel isn‘t only aboutt seeing famous places.

Sometimes, the best memories come from slowing down, creating something with your own hands, laughing together, and taking a little piece of that memory home.

Thank you for making my day so special. I hope these cookies will always remind you of your time in Korea. 🇰🇷🤍

Today’s baking class brought together guests from Indonesia and Hong Kong. One family originally came from Korea but now lives in Hong Kong. They told me they make time to visit Korea once a year, and I’m so grateful they chose Maremohe as part of their precious trip.

The children were incredibly bright, curious, and full of energy. They made the class so much fun from beginning to end, and their smiles filled the whole studio.

I hope that every time they think back on their visit to Korea, they’ll remember not only the places they visited, but also the cookies they baked together and the memories they created as a family.

A Sweet Summer Activity in Seoul 🍪

we welcomed a lovely couple to our Yakgwa Cookie Baking Class — she’s from Italy, he’s from the U.S., and they met while working at a company in Prague.

Now they’re both living as digital nomads, working and traveling around the world together. Isn’t that the dream? ✈️🍪

They were such a sweet couple, and the one thing I forgot to ask was… when they eat pizza, do they go for Italian pizza or American pizza? 😂🍕

Had the sweetest time with these lovely sisters from New Mexico. 🤍🇺🇸
Their energy, kindness, and laughter made this Yakgwa Cookie Class so much fun. By the end of it, I felt like I had gained two sisters of my own.

🇺🇸Two friends from Illinois joined today’s baking class.

They’ve been doing ballet together for 13+ years, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how beautiful that is. Staying committed to one thing for so long is inspiring. Having a friend who’s been there the whole journey? Even more so.

They captured today’s class with digital cameras, chasing the little analog moments. 📷
(I just bought one too, so I was weirdly excited.)

One of the best parts of this job is meeting people from different places, with different stories.

Days like today make me love what I do even more. 🤍
