To our sweet, sweet community… how could we even do this without you? Since 2019, 100% Ferdinand has been growing slowly but surely… staying small as an initiative, while steadily helping more and more animals through the profits we generate.

This year is a tough one. After ongoing wars in Lebanon and a major escalation since February, many of us don’t see the end of the tunnel… We are tired, exhausted, and a third of the country is heavily impacted by the strikes. Many animals are being abandoned, left to fend for themselves. Instability is rising, rescues are increasing, and adoptions are decreasing. It all gets heavy… but it also reminds us why we do this, and why what we’re building together matters so much.

Indeed, ever wondered about our team? We don’t really have one. Technically, it’s a one-woman show (Adrienne), relying on so many kind and talented artists and friends who collaborate and show up along the way.

So yes — YOU matter so much. 100%Ferdinand only exists because of you. And I could never do this without you all. THANK YOU for being here, for caring, and for making this possible. I’m counting on you now more than ever to keep this going 🫂

This is the story of Lily, Brey, Nino, Gucci & many others… 💔🐾 We visited Tante Pascale’s boarding, home to most of rescues. Here are a few stories & behind the scenes of ⬇️

🐶 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝘆 (1st 📸)
Found more than 3 years ago on the streets of Beirut. Despite being medium-sized, playful and incredibly sweet, she has had 𝟬 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. While she waits for her forever home, her rescuer (with our occasional support) covers expenses exceeding $𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. This is the sad reality of many mixed-breed dogs. How could anyone resist this little hobbit face? 🥺

🦽 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘆 (before last 📸)
We met Brey a few weeks ago and he broke our hearts… After losing both back legs in an accident, life in Lebanon is tough. We covered his travel papers ($150) and ordered wheels so he can walk and play again. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲 gives 🤍

Rescued in June, you might know him from our GoFundMe, “Nino, the paralysed kitten”. At just 1 month, he couldn’t move his front legs and was dragging himself around. After 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆,he is now active, happy, extremely cuddly and so patient with kids. His full story is in the (link in bio), as we are trying to raise more than $𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 and we can’t do it alone.

A small senior, abandoned after his owners passed away. Soft and easy-going as long as you’re with him, yet deeply marked by the fear of being abandoned again. Seniors are often left aside. What if we changed that — 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁, and carrying the pain for them, just once?🫂

Hello everyone! I’m sharing this post to ask for a little help for a kitten I rescued in Lebanon — Nino. Here’s his story and a few links — if you feel like supporting or sharing, it would already mean a lot 💛

Not long ago, I found Nino on the street, paralysed in his front legs. We didn’t think he would make it, but this little one showed an incredible will to live ❤️

Thanks to care and treatment, one of his legs has already regained mobility, but he still needs physiotherapy and surgery before he can join his adoptive family in Europe.

His expenses are now over €4,000, and neither I nor his adopter can cover all the costs alone. Even €5, €10 or €20 can make a real difference when many people come together — and it would also allow me to keep supporting other shelters in Lebanon through my initiative (100% Ferdinand) instead of having to focus all my resources on his case 🙁

Bonjour à tous ! Ce post pour demander un petit coup de pouce pour un chaton que j’ai recueilli au Liban, Nino. Voici son histoire et quelques liens — si vous avez envie de soutenir ou de partager, ce serait déjà énorme 💛

Il y a peu, j’ai recueilli Nino, un chaton trouvé dans la rue, paralysé des pattes avant. On pensait qu’il ne survivrait pas, mais ce petit nous a montré une incroyable envie de vivre ❤️

Grâce aux soins, une de ses pattes a déjà retrouvé de la mobilité, mais il a encore besoin de physiothérapie et d’une opération avant de pouvoir rejoindre sa famille adoptive en Europe.

Les frais dépassent 4000 € ... et ni moi, ni son adoptant ne pouvons couvrir seuls l’ensemble des coûts. 5, 10 ou 20 € peuvent vraiment faire une vraie différence quand on est nombreux, et cela me permettra aussi de continuer de soutenir les autres refuges au Liban avec mon initiative (100% Ferdinand) et non pas de tout mettre dans son cas 🙁
