Cancer is not just a malignant disease, more so it is a silent disease. Once present, everything collapses. Every family member - including children - will face daily changes. A lot of physical suffering: hair loss, weakness, pain, lack of energy, tiredness ... a lot of change of mood: depression, resignation, despair, anger, aggression... In our part of the world, social pressure on maintaining physical appearance makes the impact of the disease even more difficult. Hair loss as a result of cancer treatments can be devastating to the patients' self-esteem. From there, the majority of patients rely heavily on wigs during chemotherapy to help them look and feel more like themselves again.
“Cut 4-Hope”: a campaign that aimed to make a world of difference for these patients and will allow some people to regain their confidence and their sense of self.
4Hope wants to thank USEK University for its partnership and involvement in this project. We would also like to thank Passion Hair & Beauty and hairdresser Joe Tannoury for his dedication, Crosstalk NGO for its collaboration and My Bachelor Shop for its motivation.
