A Dream Come True..
Growing up as a little girl without my father taught me how to appreciate the tiniest of things in life and never take anything for granted. At a very young age, my mother has been extremely supportive of me in every step of the way and encouraged me to pursue all of my dreams. Because I have struggled a great deal in my life, I wanted to be able to make people happy. I dreamt of granting people a bit of heaven, even if it’s just for a moment. And I thought to myself what would make me happy when I’m sad? CHOCOLATE. Chocolate is the one thing that’s able to change someone’s mood and make them happy instantly. I decided on opening a chocolaterie. The passion I have for chocolate was reflected in each piece I made as if it was a mirror. Every piece of chocolate has a story and I live that story while making it.
When I paint a drawing of chocolate, all my senses are at ease. The sight of the silky chocolate as it delicately melts as soon as it kisses the tips of my fingers is divine. The euphonious crack of chocolate as I bite into it arouses my taste buds & results in an undeniable pleasure upon meeting. This is what I call Drugs of Happiness. It is a worthwhile addiction. I want everyone to experience this passionate intimacy with chocolate.
To me, giving someone a box of chocolate is equivalent to giving them a bundle of happiness, only chocolate is tangible and ambrosial. Whenever I taste chocolate, I’m always taken back to the very first Easter egg I’ve ever made. An exploding wave of euphoric emotions.
Today, the painting I used to hang at the back of my mind came to life and is real & vivid. I am determined not to sell you just another brand of chocolate, but to grant you an unforgettable experience filled with love & passion.
