In the cup : Chamomile comes first, followed by red apple sweetness, then a lemon-like finish that keeps the coffee lively and clean. Pomelo adds another layer of citrus character, while the tea-like body and juicy mouthfeel give the cup both delicacy and movement.

LOT : 2242

In the cup : The first impression is a delicate floral aroma that leads into crisp green apple and white grape sweetness. As the cup cools, layers of raspberry and soft stone fruit emerge, adding depth without overpowering the profile.

This release is Damn Fine’s journey with Sheen captured in its final, tangible form. Sheen earned the reverence over a century and a half. Born in the Coffee Rush. Wipe by the blight. Resurrected as tea. Revived this harvest.

We processed these lots ourselves. Engineering a roast profile specifically for filter extraction, built to get out of the way and let the fruit speak. Translucent in the server. Clear in the cup. The weight of the story, poured.

LOT : 2256

Roasted for filter, this coffee carries a refined red-fruit profile. Red apple brings brightness, raspberry and strawberry add sweetness, and chocolate rounds the finish.

LOT : 2272

Roasted for filter, the coffee opens with delicate floral character before revealing crisp red apple sweetness. Milk chocolate provides depth and softness, creating a medium-bodied cup that is balanced from beginning to end.

LOT : 2251

In espresso: It opens with lemongrass, berries, and pineapple-bright, tropical and citrus-led.
In filter : It softens into red apple, Belgian chocolate, and mandarin, with balanced sweetness and acidity.

Records suggest that Meddecombra was originally established as a coffee estate in the mid-1800s, under the management of “The New Dimbulla Company.” In 1880, the estate transitioned to tea cultivation. Yet this harvest, the same care that built Sri Lankas name turns toward a different crop - coffee.

What follows is a promise Damn Fine stakes its name on: full traceability. Estate named. Season stated. Process declared.

We are humbled to welcome Meddecombra Estate as our farm partner. This season, we introduce 3 distinct expressions of the Oct-Dec 2025 Harvest.

Hotel Show Colombo 2026 in the books.

We showed up with Sri Lankan single origins the island hadn’t seen yet. Introduced Damn Fine Matcha. Poured cold brew non-stop. Every pour, every question, every conversation - that’s what this week was built on.

A special thanks to Adrian Adrian Bularca (a.k.a “Damn Fine Sudda”) from habitat_coffeestudio . Three days on the brew bar with us. No breaks. No complaints. Just grit & passion.

To every coffee enthusiast, curious drinker, and old friend who stopped by - thank you. This industry moves on handshakes and shared cups. We left with plenty of both.
