The Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) Professional Affairs Board successfully hosted CPD Event 1 for the 2026–2027 session under the theme, “Standardization & Innovative Solutions for Integrated Building Services, with a Special Focus on S-lon Roofing and Drainage Systems,” on Friday, 22nd May 2026 at the SLIA Auditorium. The event was exclusively powered by S-lon Lanka.
The occasion was graced by SLIA President Archt. Dilummini De Mel, FIA [SL]; Immediate Past President Archt. Dr. Rohana Bandara Herath, FIA [SL]; Chairman PAB Archt. Migara Alwis, FIA [SL]; Honorary Treasurer Archt. Jayanath Silva, FIA [SL]; Vice President Archt. Dinuk Senanayake, FIA [SL]; Senior Vice President Archt. Prasanna Silva, FIA [SL]; Mr. S. C. Weerasekera, Group Director/COO of the Capital Maharaja Group; Mr. Nalin Jayawardhana, Director/CEO of S-lon Lanka; and Mr. Chamara Lokupothagamage, Chief Marketing Officer of the Capital Maharaja Group – Industrial Hub.

Sasha Wickremasinghe, AIA(SL), Chartered Architect, the session concluded successfully with engaging discussions on modern building solutions, roofing systems, drainage innovations, and quality-driven engineering practices shaping the future of the construction industry.
