This is a small guide on the factors to consider when buying an Induction Stove.
First of all, we have to consider that power consumption varies from household to household. Some consume significantly low while others consume a lot more. This also means the rate/kWh is based on the power consumption of a particular household; the higher the consumption, the higher the rate charged.
Below are the published rates by Ceylon Electricity Board
If the consumption is above 60 kWh per month the following tariffs will be applicable:

For example:
1. If your household consumes 55kWh/month, you will be billed for Rs.431.75. Which is, at the rate of 7.85/kWh.
2. If your household consumes 80kWh/month, you will be billed for Rs.800. Which is, at the rate of 80/kWh.
3. If your household consumes 115kWh/month, you will be billed for Rs.2616.25. Which is, at the rate of 27.75/kWh.
When it comes to induction stoves, unlike our product, most of the stoves in the market give significantly lower power output than what is labelled.

To be fair, we will compare our product with the stove that comes with a similar power rating.

Which also means, the other product will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the job our product takes 1 hour to complete. And in 1 Hour and 30 minutes it would have wasted 840W. Assuming it wastes the same amount of power daily, it will waste roughly 25,200W in one month. So, if your power consumption is in 91 – 180kWh range, you may waste roughly Rs806.4/month, and it is about Rs.9676.8/year.
The efficiency of our product is very high at approximately 97%. Which means it will get the job done in less time with less power than most of the other products on the market. Less time and high efficiency will increase productivity and save money.
