The students of FIRST FRIENDS CAMPUS Kandy have organized a community project which covers two main areas;
1. Providing Kitchen utensils worth of Rs 200,000 and poplin materials as requested by the care taker to the young girls at Jayawickrama Children's Home, Bahirawakanda along with workshops which could facilitate the girls in the future in being self reliant. Our goal is to educate the young girls about the basic life skills and how they could make a living out of them.
2. Providing Rechargeable bulbs and essential food packs for nearly 30 families in Huluganga, which is a rural estate in Kandy district. These families are hardly affording to have 2 meals a day and due to the prevailing power outages in SL they struggle to make ends meet!
You can be a part of this project and give your major support to reach our goal successfully. Your participation in this worthy cause will provide an opportunity for the vulnerable people to have a hope and live a better life. All your contributions will be directly donated to the people in need at Bahirawakanda and Huluganga. May god bless your intentions and provide you with more wealth to give for the society! 🙏🏽
