Dents will likely make it difficult to play with nice tone and consistent intonation. They can also make your instrument more difficult to “slot”, which is the production of the correct note. A typical dent removal is not very expensive. But in some severe cases, it may be more cost effective to replace parts of the instrument, or even the entire instrument, rather than paying for repair.

තැලුම් (Dents) බොහෝ විට ලස්සන හඬකින් සහ නිවැරදි ස්‍රැතිය (intonation) සහිතව වාදනය කිරීමට අපහසු කරවනු ඇත. ඒවාට ඔබේ සංගීත භාණ්ඩය නිවැරදි ස්වරය නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීම කරවන “ස්ලොට්” කිරීම ද අපහසු කළ හැකිය. සාමාන්‍ය තැලුම් ඉවත් කිරීම මිල අධික නොවේ. නමුත් සමහර දරුණු අවස්ථාවල දී, අලුත්වැඩියාව සඳහා ගෙවීමට වඩා අදාල කොටස හෝ සමහර විට සම්පූර්ණ උපකරණයම ආදේශ කිරීම වඩා ලාභදායී විය හැකිය.

How often should you service your drum? A regularly used drum should be serviced at least twice a year, but if you do not use the instrument frequently it can be done once a year.

This Alto Saxophone was brought to us claiming the D is not working. After analyzing we discovered it needed a full key & pad adjustment.
