Position: Cashier (With store cleaning duties)

Location: Mokhotlong

Reports to: Cash Office Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate cash handling, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness within the store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently

2. Receive payments (cash, mobile, transfers) and issue receipts

3. Balance daily cash and prepare end-of-day reports

4. Assist customers in a polite and professional manner

5. Ensure shelves and cashier area are neat and well organised

6. Perform daily store cleaning duties, including: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning counters, shelves, and displays

7. Maintaining hygiene in cashier and customer areas

8. Report stock discrepancies or system issues to management

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Form E / LGCSE or equivalent

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Previous cashier or retail experience will be an advantage

Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

Willing to perform cleaning duties as part of daily work

Good communication and customer service skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full-time position

Shift work may be required
