The development of DPA 6388 CORE+ focused not only on its new supercardioid capsule, but also on the practical details that matter in everyday use.
The refined Act headset follows the natural contours of the head and ears more closely, while soft, rounded earhook tips help reduce pressure. Revised transparent clips hold the selected adjustment more securely, helping the microphone remain stable as the wearer moves.
A PVD-finished boom, a colour-matched frame and low-visibility clips keep the headset discreet on stage and on camera. Downward cable routing reduces strain at the transition between the microphone boom and cable.
These may be small construction details, but they affect comfort, stability and reliability throughout a performance.
