Well, it's Friday again — and somehow we've already made it to the last month of summer.

The holidays are over, the summer shows are behind us, and the autumn exhibition season is still a little way off. Which means there is only one thing left to do: get back to work. :)

And today we have something new especially for the "1/72 scale modellers".
Meet the "Garford-Putilov Armoured Car in 1/72 — available from today."
This is something a little new for us. We wanted to see just how far we could push modern high-resolution 3D printing in this scale — not simply make a small model, but retain the kind of detail we normally expect from much larger scales.

And we're very happy with the result.

The Garford-Putilov is a "high-detail 3D-printed resin kit", complete with "Cartograf decals" and a full-colour instruction leaflet. Each kit contains all the parts required for its particular version.

The Garford is quite a machine even in 1/72, and the level of detail that modern 3D printing allows us to reproduce at this scale is seriously impressive.

A small update from the CSM workshop!

We have started test production of our upcoming 1/72 Garford-Putilov Armoured Car, which will be released as a fully 3D-printed model kit.

The first production test prints are now being evaluated, and we are very pleased with the level of detail achieved in this scale. We are also currently selecting the marking options and decal subjects that will be included with the kit.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but it is exciting to see this project taking shape.

The exhibition at the famous Tank Museum in Saumur is in full swing, and today has been a very busy one for us 🤩

It’s great to see so many familiar faces, meet new modellers, and talk about kits, projects, and history all day long 🤗

Friday, gentlemen — it has been a little while since our last update.
A lot has been happening recently, including preparations for the upcoming exhibition in France, shipping pre-orders, and several projects moving forward at the same time.

Today we can finally show two new 3D-printed figures prepared for our First World War French vehicle range:

– French Army motorcycle dispatch rider “Estafette”
– French Marine armoured car driver crank starting a car

Both figures include two headgear options — the French Adrian helmet and a kepi — allowing different display possibilities for vehicle scenes and dioramas.

The first test prints are looking very promising, and both figures are now available on our website.

As usual — vehicle and motorcycle are not included in the sets.

Saturday evening, chers amis — a fine moment to share some news.

We are finishing work on our new figure — a French Army WWI motorcycle dispatch rider, Estafette.
The kit includes two headgear options — the Adrian helmet or a kepi — allowing you to choose the character and period of the figure.

Back to the bench!
It’s already been a week since the Lingen show came to an end — it was a great event, and it was wonderful to meet friends and colleagues again 🤗

But today is Friday… so let’s get back to Copper State Models 😉

We’d like to share an excellent build by Samuel Elkington — the Macchi Nieuport 11 in 1/32 scale 👀✨
