It is time to share the results of yet another field study on Hortimed HUMUS . This time, the trial was conducted by Institut Fresenius in Germany. Biostimulant was incorporated into the peat substrate, enriching it with valuable humic substances and creating a more favorable growing environment for Chinese cabbage. The results were remarkable.

Most growers optimize everything - seeds, nutrients, irrigation. But what about the peat itself? We put Hortimed Humus Additive to the test - independently, across two of Germany's most respected agricultural research institutions.

🔬 LUFA Nord-West (Oldenburg) — oan accredited German laboratory specializing in soil and substrate analysis - confirmed +12.9% more water retained in treated peat. Same structure. Significantly more moisture where roots need it.
🏛️ SGS Centre of Agriculture Testing — a globally accredited agricultural testing authority — ran the crop trial. Just 2L of additive per m³ of peat. The results on Chinese Cabbage:
🥬 +47.2% plant weight
🌱 +43.3% root weight
💧 +22.5% leaf area

Same moisture levels across all samples. Vastly different plants.

Hortimed Humus Biostimulant has been tested independently across multiple countries and dozens of crop types - from broadacre fields to greenhouses, from citrus orchards to root vegetables.

Here's a snapshot of what the data shows:
🍋 +15% yield, −25% fertilizer - Citrus, Italy
🌱 +33% yield, +19% root size - Radish, Lithuania
🌾 +33% yield - Oats, Latvia

And these are just three examples. Trials span cereals, vegetables, soft fruits, woody perennials, ornamentals, greenhouse crops - and more are ongoing.
