Already for some time I was thinking
about some designs inspired by Mediterranean
flora, local vibe and warm light.
Starting with the idea, inspiration living with
it for some time and then creating.
Creating actually starts already with the first
thought and then it's developing.
Putting it on the paper is the final of the whole
process.
Although living in Latvia I am a bit French or Italian
inside:)

While rearranging the many cards in the shelvesas lots of them will move to the new place soon I had some nostalgic feel...

While rearranging the many cards in the shelves
as lots of them will move to the new place soon
I had some nostalgic feeling and wanted to catch
the light and the cards themselves as they are at
the moment.
I remembered how it started here in the studio without any shelves at the beginning but was very
happy to have a place to keep and place the cards
and wrapping papers. I have moved here after working
in an hangar type building and keeping the cards under the stairs at home even before.
Then shelves became fuller and fuller as many new
paper designs were created and after printing they
all came here.
