Mickey Mouse by Nintendo

Details
Title: Mickey Mouse™
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Series: Game & Watch ( Wide Screen )
Model No: MC-25
Release Date: October 9, 1981
Chipset: Sharp SM5A ( 32.768 kHz )

Description
Mickey Mouse must catch eggs before they fall to the ground in this 1981 title in Nintendo's Game & Watch™ series of handheld electronic games.

Gameplay
Move Mickey Mouse as he tries to catch the eggs rolling from four different hen houses. Fail to catch an egg and it will fall down and break. The game features four buttons, one for each spot where Mickey can put his basket. Sometimes Minnie Mouse shows up and, if an egg breaks while she's around, the player only gets half of a "MISS".
In Game A, eggs will only fall from three of the hen houses instead of the four that are in Game B. As the game progresses the rate of eggs and quantity will increase. Every 100 points this temporarily returns to that at the start before increasing again.

Trivia
In regions where Nintendo lacked the rights to use the Mickey Mouse character — specifically in parts of Europe, Australia, and some Asian locations — it released the game under the title Egg featuring a generic character instead.

Judge by Nintendo (Purple Edition)

Details
Title: Judge
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Series: Game & Watch ( Silver Series )
Model No: IP-05
Release Date: October 4, 1980
Chipset: Sharp SM5A ( 32.768 kHz )

Description
Judge, the fifth game released by Nintendo in their Game & Watch™ series of handheld LCD games is rather unique, not only because it was the first to feature a two-player mode, but also because it was released twice. First in a green version, which Nintendo later discovered contained a bug, and then in a purple version in which the bug was corrected.

Gameplay
In Judge you'll need quick reflexes as you decide whether to hit your opponent or dodge their attack.
In the game two players on either side of the screen face off against each other each holding a hammer. In each round the game will count down until each player raises a sign at the same time with a number on it; if the number is equal or higher than that of your opponent, you'll need to quickly tap the HIT button to bring your hammer crashing down on your opponent's head. If your number is lower, hit the DODGE button to evade your opponent's incoming strike.
In the one player mode (Game A) the computer will control the character on the left side of the screen. In the two player mode (Game B) a second person must control the character on the left instead of the computer.
Each player will earn points for successfully hitting or dodging their opponent. If you dodge when you should've hit or strike when you should've dodged, your opponent will earn extra points. The game ends when either player reaches 99 points.

Tips & Tricks
In Game A the computer's time (speed) to react after each player's numbers are revealed varies between 0.263 and 0.631 seconds which can be estimated by the speed of the animation and time signal sounds before the numbers are revealed.

Trivia
After the release of the original green version Nintendo discovered that in the two player mode (Game B) when the left player had the higher number and made a mistake by dodging (instead of hitting) then the right player would be awarded 1 point, but if the right player made a similar mistake and moved out of the way (when they had a higher number) then left player was awarded 2 points, thus giving the left player an unfair advantage. Nintendo corrected the problem and re-released the game in a purple version to distinguish it from the earlier green version.
