📞 99720500, 94105733 Of course, being healthy and safe is important, but it has also affected the entire economy, especially small businesses including artisans and hand-crafters, since the majority of their customers are tourists from abroad. This is a most difficult situation because these artisans usually run their small businesses as a family. Unfortunately, this economic downturn has caused the entire family to lose their main source of income. Youth for Success NGO is optimistic about the future and while waiting for the economy to restart, we are initiating a way to support those families. Our NGO has been serving the community for more than ten years and has supported education and self-reliance in order to fight poverty among rural communities and the nomadic herder society. This projects fits our mission perfectly and we are encouraging global participation by people around the world who are currently limited to travel abroad to be able to purchase hand-crafted items made by Mongolian artisans. This is not just trade or a charity activity. We intend to support and introduce Mongolian culture through our artisans and hand-crafters who are keeping, teaching and practicing our Mongolian traditions. We have many talented local people who need a little more support and are willing to co-operate with us. The hand made items include: wood carvings, paper, clay, and silk figures, leather work, cashmere, yak wool, and felt souvenirs, and clothing. We also hope this will encourage interest in visiting Mongolia.
