At its best, business is a form of care.
For us, that means looking beyond the transaction and asking what helps communities grow stronger: reliable access to food, resilient supply chains, meaningful partnerships, and a future where each delivery is part of something bigger.
This has been part of Paradise Foods from the beginning.
As we continue to grow across the Caribbean, we have had to make one deeply emotional decision: we will no longer operate our local B2C grocery delivery for boats or charter-provisioning business in Martinique.
This decision is specific to Martinique and to this part of our business.
Paradise Foods continues to grow across the Caribbean. Our work with cruise ships, institutional partners and on-the-ground customers is not affected. Neither are the food-security, logistics and regional supply-chain projects we are developing across the region.
Martinique is where our journey began. It was our first base, our home, and for many years the heart of Paradise Foods.
We worked hard to make our activities there evolve as Paradise Foods grew beyond boat provisioning. Ultimately, the structural, economic and market conditions do not allow us to build the scalable and sustainable operation we would need to grow there.
This is not a reflection of our Martinique team. Quite the opposite. They carried the operation with determination, adaptability and care. The limits we reached are structural, not human.
To every Paradiser who helped build this chapter: thank you. Much of what Paradise Foods is today was learned and built in Martinique.
We will continue building stronger food supply across the Caribbean, connecting islands and markets, and deepening the connections between Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America through food.
Because food is not only a product.
Food is security.
Food is dignity.
Food is connection.
Thank you, Martinique.
You were our beginning. You were our home.
