Being in line with the flower and plant business since 1978, Joseph Debono started his own business when he purchased the land at Ghajn Tuffieha and immediately began with the construction of greenhouses in order to modernize the nursery. At the time the production was based on various vegetables. Later through the years Joseph Debono began importing and distributing various agricultural products and constructing greenhouses to other farmers. In 1996 Jardinland Garden centre in Ghajn Tuffieha opened its doors to the public. From that time onwards the production was shifted from vegetables to various flowers and plants. Today Jardinland is considered as one of the major nurseries in Malta for growing, importing and distributing a wide range of flowers, plants and seedlings.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend Raymond Chetcuti. 🕊️

His kind heart and selfless nature touched the lives of so many. His generosity, compassion, and willingness to always help others will never be forgotten. He was a truly altruistic person who gave so much of himself to those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Please note that next Monday the 17th of August, our shop will open at 12:00 as we will be attending his funeral.

Rest in Peace dear Ray. 🌹
