The building itself helps one to develop further various skills such as attention to detail, planning, research on the kit being built and become more organised. The result itself would be the end product itself which one can cherish, display or even compete with, starting from beginners to the highly advanced. Kit building also helps one to develop communication skills and the widest of spectrum

in developing an idea, from a diorama battle field to a formula 1 display setup. The imagination one can go to with building a kit is never ending. Parents who wish to see their children develop their ability skills should promote this hobby to their kids as it gives better quality time of interaction and possibly reduce the time playing on a pc.

I noticed that it has been some time since I posted here - As an update on the exhibition for the first time after many years from taking part (around 1992) I achieved three gold - two silver and two bronz plus getting 1st in my section for beginners.
Presently working on two models - a 1:200 paper model ship USS Oklahoma and 1:24 stuka - both are scratch build kits or conversions so taking some time to do - but am in no hurry.

By the way received some great kits and also some fantastic air brushes...

Presently taking part in the AME exhibition. Apart from having models on display there would be some fantastic unbuilt ship models for sale at bargain prices. Come and enjoy the exhibition.

More model kits arrived - the famous Tiger Tank - the Panther Tank and the M3A1 American half track truck. Also received a 1:200 USS Oklahoma paper model, this is a real model paper kit which one has to build into a authentic and realistic ship - look into the internet and one will surely understand - a new and very challenging kit I am committed to try and build!!

Just collected two fantastic models - the Tamiya 1:350 King George Battle Ship and the 1:72 Revell U Boat (this U boat when finished is nearly 1 meter long - a fantastic kit to build and going for a bargain price.

Bismark and the Graf Spee already sold - now soon to get the 1:350 USS Missouri, the 1:350 HMS King George - also some Tamiya German Tanks... as always brand new and bargain prices!! Oh nearly forgot on the way another 1:350 Bismark!!
