Do you own an MG42 and wish to complete it with an original mount? This evening, we are offering a rare MG 34 Heinrich H. Klüssendorf of Berlin-Spandau (maker code “dar”) and subsequently adapted for use with the MG42. It was eventually captured by Yugoslav forces and refurbished for their use. It remains in that original condition.

The Lafette 34 and later Lafette 42 were sophisticated German tripod mounts designed to transform the MG34 and MG42 into stable, long-range sustained-fire weapons. Incorporating recoil absorption, precision elevation and traversing mechanisms, and an automatic search-fire device, it greatly increased battlefield accuracy and effectiveness. It is a very sought-after accessory by collectors.

Besides this mount, we have another one that requires cleaning and restoration.

This evening, we bring you a pre-owned 2015 Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 629-8 revolver that is in near new condition and complete with its original box and papers. It only fired 6 rounds!

This premium stainless-steel revolver builds on the long-running Model 629, itself introduced in 1979 as the stainless version of the famous Model 29. The “-8” engineering revision, introduced in the mid-2000s, featured a redesigned slab-sided barrel profile and other manufacturing updates while retaining the strength of the large N-frame. Hand-fitted and tuned by Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center, the revolver is intended for shooters seeking enhanced accuracy, refined trigger performance, and superior craftsmanship. The 8⅜-inch barrel maximizes sight radius and muzzle velocity, making it well suited to target shooting and handgun hunting. Chambered in .44 Magnum, it also accepts .44 Special ammunition. Typical specifications include a six-round fluted cylinder, single/double-action operation, adjustable rear sight with a high-visibility front sight, stainless steel construction and wood target grips.
