However, we do not accept junk, scrap products and goods with big damages and defects. All items presented by owners are reviewed and generally products in good condition and lightly used with minimum stains are acceptable for selling in the store. • All Seller / Owner of second-hand products are required to sign a Sales Authorisation – Policy Agreement wherein all particulars of the product owner is mentioned and duly signed by them before any second-hand products are accepted in the store.
• Our processing policy with the seller provides a protection for the purchaser from stolen goods and any associated criminal offence. How To Consign Your Second-Hand Products to AfricaIMG Depot-Vente? At AfricaIMG Depot-Vente store, we offer quality second-hand product at very low prices. All second-hand products are reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on style and condition. An appointment is necessary to review the products at its current owner place. If the second-hand products are acceptable, a consignment contract is signed for a specific period of time. At the end of the contract, the product owner is notified about any unsold products. The owner is invited to renew the contract with a price review. However, product owners can reclaim the unsold goods. Any claim before expiry of the consignment is possible by giving 5 days written notice. It would be the responsibility of the product owner to pull back his products from the sales floor within 5 days of the claim date; otherwise, the items become shop property. We do not charge any fee to second-hand goods deposited at our store. A minimum delivery fee is charged to clients for transport facilities. Consignors who require a confidential and private approach of selling their furniture and second-hand items can call us for an appointment or email us with information of the items they have to sell.
