in the World. Sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is one of the world's great vacation travel experiences. Located at the absolute, extreme tip of Mexico's famous Baja California peninsula, "Cabo" is a magic vacation spot where sportfishing tourism is so intense that on any given morning it is often possible to see more than 200 charter boats leaving the marina, carrying eager vacationers who have come from all over the world to catch Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dorado and dozens of other game fish species, such as Red Snapper, Yellowtail, Sierra, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, Groupers, and many, many more. The average year-round temperature is 78F. During high tourist season, October to April, the temperature is typically 80F during the day and cools to the 60's at night. The low tourist season, May to September, the temperature will go up to 100F+ during the day and stay in the upper 70's and low 80's in the evening. The average year-round water temperature in the Sea of Cortez is 72F. During the summer months the water temperature can reach the mid 80's. The climate is arid with over 300 days of sunshine, with some reports of over 350 days. Average annual rainfall is 10 inches (25.4cm), most with occurring during the months of September and October.

Teaching my boy how to fish! Struggling on the first try but got a better feel for it the second time around. At the end of the day, we caught and relased 2 small Stripped Marlin and a nice sized Wahoo.

Dorados and stripped marlin are around 5 miles off shore. Right along shore we are catching a lot of spanish makarel and a few rooster fish.
